Bondi Band Compression Socks

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Bondi Band.

Well, now I have yet another reason to love the brand.

Introducing, Bondi Compression:

Directly from Bondi Band’s website:

“NEW! Bondi Band compression socks combine true gradient compression therapy with exciting fashion and flair. They increase circulation and decrease recovery time, thus reducing swelling, cramping, aching and fatigue of the lower legs. Our hand sewn seams and non restrictive toe box and top band provide added comfort. Our fabric contains special anti-odor properties. These socks are ideal before, during and after a workout.”

Since coming back from injury, I’ve dealt with a very tight right calf muscle. The tightness is from spending 3 weeks in a walking boot.  In order to help ease the muscle soreness, I have kept my runs easy and short, spent lots of time in ice baths and massages, and also incorporated more stretching.  Something was still missing.

Then, I figured it out!

I own a LOT of compression socks.  Too many to be exact.  But, I figured this was a good time to invest in a pair from Bondi Band, since I would be using them (plus ALL of my other pairs of compression socks) quite frequently to calm my calf muscle down.

And…truth be told, the colorful argyle look won me over as well.

Besides coming in some fun colors, these socks have a lot of great features about them.  The one feature that made them stand out from all of the other compression socks I own, is how soft the socks were.  My other compression socks are not rough feeling.  These socks just felt extra soft and comfortable.  I often sleep in my compression socks, so comfort is important to me.

This diagram from Bondi’s website gives a more detailed look at how their compression socks work:

Bondi Compression socks run for between $45.00 and $50.00.  Some may think this sounds pricey, but in my honest opinion, good compression is worth the extra cost.  In the past, I had been excited to find “cheaper brands” of compression socks, only to find out in the end, they didn’t work as well.

I have good news for you though!  If you use coupon code: nodrip10 at checkout, you can save 10% on Bondi Band products.

While you’re visiting their website, don’t forget to check out the other great products they sell, including the braided skinnybandsponytail hats, armbands, and bracelet hairties.

I absolutely adore the argyle pattern – way too cute! I live and die by my compression socks (Pro Compression are my fav) during marathon training; even to the point of sleeping in them after 21 milers.

I LOVE compression socks! I have trouble with my feet cramping up and running in them for long runs seems to help! And I’m with Gina- sleeping in them helps speed up recovery! I haven’t worn them lately since it’s been so hot outside though. My favorite brand is the Swiftwick Aspire Twelve. They are the perfect tightness for me, and the height is just right. I tried a pair of pro compression but they almost covered my maybe I have strangely short bottom halfs of my legs? HA, still need to exchange those for a smaller size though. BUT I did like the feel of them. The bondi band ones look like a good catch though!
